Since moving to Nashville from Houston in 2018, Addi Barrett graduated with a degree in Music and Songwriting from Belmont University and has been writing, releasing and performing music with other Nashville musicians in many different styles ever since. Though Addi describes her personal writing style as folksy singer-songwriter with a classic country influence, she has written songs for Pop, Country, Neo-Soul/R&B and Punk Rock artists.
Since 2019, Addi has released a 3-Song EP entitled, “Sorry to Interrupt” as well as her follow-up single, “Give You the Moon,” and her most recent release, “Metal and Leather” in 2022. Her most recent collaboration includes a band project under the name “Barrett,” set to debut in early 2024.
